Artist Michael Marcovici has conceptualized the most expensive piece of art ever: hundred dollar bills arranged in stacks totalling one billion dollars. Though the project is just a prototype so far–since no bank actually has the amount of cash necessary to execute such a project–Marcovici insists that its purpose is to “to draw attention to the part that value and pricing plays in art.” Can Chic Report borrow a few bucks?
